Badminton...badminton...badminton....That's what I do for this weekend. Sounds pathetic, right? Instead of hanging out with friends, I choose to play badminton...Oh well, I will try to go out with friends more often.

I went to Broadway Cafe for lunch with Yingjun. I ordered Bim Bim Bop. Today's weather was pretty bad. I was driving not more than 20 mph. My car skidded once a while, but it is ok. I guess I will have a good rest, tuck myself under my comforter in the snowy 2004 winter :)

Today was quite a tiring day. I had only 15 minutes for lunch. Had a 2-hours meeting with my ME 587 groupmates. The meeting was kinda useless because our professor didn't really like our idea for final project:( I am kinda pissed off...But oh well, that's education. Will I learn something new from this class??? I am not sure actually.

Anyway, it is not a very good day today. I hate meetings that are longer than 1 hour. What a boring day!!!

Hmm...Happy New Year 2004! I really haven't blogged for long long time. Well, I went back to Singapore on December 12, stayed there for 5 days. Spent a few days meeting up with SIMTech people. I may have internship with SIMTech this summer. I went out with Karen a couple of time. She is still in great shape, really happy to see her. I met up with my old ASEAN scholar friends. They are busy doing final project.

Went back to Medan on Dec 19. Really happy to see my family, especially my nephew. He is so cute. I gained 3 kg in Medan. I still have deficit of 3 kg because I lost 6 kg in Fall term. Good news is that my cholesterol level has dropped from 230 to 177. No more high cholesterol!!! I sprained my right wrist though in Medan. I can't play badminton well at the moment.

Another good news is that I got A for my stats class and A+ for my business class. Well, an A for my stats class is kinda expected, though I was a bit worried about losing the A after the final exam. Getting an A+ for my business class is a surprise to me (Btw, the class is about business in South East Asia). I was expecting an A- for myself. I rarely involved in class discussion. I guess I only raised my hand up about 4 times. But anyway, I enjoyed the class very much, doesn't matter whether it is an A- or A+.

I am taking a simulation class and a reconfigurable manufacturing system (RMS) class this term. I hope I can excel in these 2 classes. But i just bombed really badly my first quiz in the simulation class. But it is ok, just a quiz...I am not a pessimistic person anymore. I was quite pessimistic during my undergraduate time. Always look at the brighter side!

Will be back tomorrow!
